Hailing from Ireland’s capital, Dublin, Stephen Hogg (Soulfinder) musical passion extends way back to his early years. Since he was 13 he has being involved with club nights and hosted his own radio shows on many of Dublin’s top stations, recently Freq 93.2. With now over 13 years experience he has naturally progressed into all forms of house music, mainly Deep Melodic House. He has had regular bookings through out Ireland and has played in clubs like, Tripod, Club Mono, Tivoli Theatre, The Cavern, and Radio City to name but a few.

When he was 17 he was involved in production but it wasn’t until he was 24 until he learned enough to call himself a producer. His music kind of relates to his character full of emotion with a warm friendly vibe that is pleasant to the ears, as he tries to be unique with his sound. Nowadays you can find his releases on labels such as Outside The Box Music, Jetlag Digital, Toes in the Sand, Monadmusic, Deepology records and Sheeva Records. Some of these releases have being getting solid support from dj’s across the USA and Europe. Plus support on his releases have come from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Howells, Chloe Harris, Darin Epsilon, Miss Nine and has had chart toppings from the likes of Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, MentalX to name just a few.

His Trauma EP also had review in Gomagazine.nl where his music was compared to Sasha and Digweed’s Northern Exposure albums, plus it reached No 4 in the Progressive House Top 100 Dance Chart. He was also voted as the best Newcomer for 2008 on Shake Electronic music Radio Station in Switzerland. After that he was brought to Zurich Switzerland to play at the world famous Streetparade in the Lobby Bar and the Club Labyrinth.

2009 has being a great year for Soulfinder,starting off in January he was envited by Ireland’s tv Station City Channel to do an interview with Skooter Girl with Monadmusic. Also for 2009 he has played numerous of gigs and has had released some realy cool tracks that have realy being notice and highly charted on Progressive House.com and the best still has to come from this guy as he still has the release of his Album in 2009 to come plus a load more releases too. It has taken him quite some time to open the doors to success, but these things don’t happen over night and with all his experience now both as a dj and a music producer he aims to slowly but surely fulfill his goals and dreams.
